Rossini: Petite Messe Solennelle

Rossini: Petite Messe Solennelle

Composed late in life, Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle is a work of striking intimacy and unexpected depth. Blending operatic lyricism with sacred solemnity, it moves effortlessly between humility, exuberance, and heartfelt devotion. Witty, tender, and deeply human, this “little” mass is anything but small.

Featuring soloists:

Katherine Winitana - Soprano
Anna Pierard - Alto
Jordan Fonoti-Fuimaono - Tenor
Samuel McKeever - Bass

Performed by Napier Civic Choir, conducted by José Aparicio. With piano and harmonium accompaniment.

Under-18-year-olds free. Door sales if not sold out prior.
