
Kōrero with Kurī: Drop In and Read with a Therapy Dog
Kōrero with Kurī is now running at all three Hastings District Libraries, and everyone is welcome! This free after-school programme, delivered with Canine Friends Pet Therapy, offers a calm and encouraging space to read aloud or simply enjoy quiet time with a friendly therapy dog.
Drop in from 3.15pm during term time for a relaxed 10 minute reading session — no bookings needed, and all ages can take part. Therapy dogs and their trained handlers are on-site to create a safe, welcoming experience.
Kōrero with Kurī is a great way to build reading confidence, reduce stress, and enjoy a peaceful moment at your local library. Come give it a try!
