Rescue Helicopter Open Day 2026

Rescue Helicopter Open Day 2026

Our annual Rescue Helicopter Open Day is back for 2026, and we’d love to see you there! For just a gold coin donation at the gate, you can get up close with our rescue helicopter, meet the crew, enjoy a bouncy castle, have some face painting, and even try out our training winch inside the hangar.

We’ll also be joined by other emergency and rescue services, including Police, Fire and Emergency, St John, and the Hospital Flight Team - a fantastic opportunity to see them all in one place.

There will be plenty more to enjoy throughout the day, including a live rescue demonstration featuring the firefighters.

A fun, family-friendly day not to be missed!
