Spirit of Spring

Spirit of Spring

You are invited to come and enjoy the Napier Technical Memorial Band and Junior Tech Band's Spirit of Spring concert on Sunday 12 October at the Salvation Army Citadel, Greenmeadows, starting at 2pm. $15 cash or EFTPOS on the door.

Under the lively baton of Christopher Wilson, and following a Gold Award at the HB Festival of Bands and hugely successful fourth annual joint concert with Deco Bay Brass at the MTG, the Tech Band will take you on a whistle stop tour of some fabulous music, from The Beatles to Barry Manilow and from the New World to the Nineties.

The Junior Band, conducted by Teresa Cuthbert, is now its own tour de force, and excited to perform their new favourite piece 'Handclap', and exciting music from the movie 'How To Train Your Dragon'.
Both the senior and junior bands will make any new players feel truly welcome, so come along and join in. Email tcuthbert@napiercentral.school.nz or go to https://www.napiertechband.org/ to see some of our recent concerts and to find out more about both these great bands.
