The Power of Small: A Kaitiaki Kids Mission

The Power of Small: A Kaitiaki Kids Mission

In this vibrant school production, the Kaitiaki Kids of Havelock North Primary join Ranger Greta to protect Aotearoa’s native wildlife. When skinks lose their homes, the team sets off on an adventurous journey through beaches, forests, wetlands, and estuaries, encountering endangered species and facing off against pesky villains—Rat and Stoat.
Through music, drama, dance, and spoken word, the show shares a powerful message: every small action counts. Celebrating mātauranga Māori, student voice, and kaitiakitanga, it highlights how tamariki can be true guardians of the environment.
