The 2025 Bayleys Hawke’s Bay Wine Awards are stepping into a bold new era with a new venue, a new look, and a new format. This year’s celebration will showcase the very best of Hawke’s Bay wine and food in a fresh, vibrant way.

The Bayleys Hawke’s Bay Wine Awards is New Zealand’s longest running regional wine competition, proudly owned and managed by the Hawke’s Bay A&P Society. Each year, the Awards honour world class winemaking talent and highlight the vital role viticulture plays in the economic, cultural, and social wellbeing of our region. With Hawke’s Bay now recognised as a Great Wine Capital of the World, the event shines an even brighter spotlight on our region as New Zealand’s Food and Wine Country.

The 2025 event brings a completely refreshed experience. Guests can expect a cocktail style evening featuring substantial canapés crafted from exceptional Hawke’s Bay produce, a lively new format, and the opportunity to taste the award winning wines of the year. The evening will also see the announcement of the 2025 trophy winners, selected by a distinguished panel of national judges.

For those who prefer a dedicated base for the evening, a small number of tables will be available to purchase. General admission tickets still provide access to the full experience, with a mix of theatre style seating and leaners available to perch at throughout the venue.

The Awards ceremony itself will be delivered over a condensed timeframe, creating more space in the evening to connect with others, enjoying outstanding Hawke’s Bay food, and celebrating with the region’s finest wines.
