Slackbarn #2

R18
Slackbarn #2

THE BIG REVEAL !! This year's festy has 5 artists coming from overseas, and a bunch of NZ local talent, including a couple of friends from Hawkes Bay!

SLACKBARN LINEUP:
Kate Bollinger (USA) – She's so good!!! We can’t believe she's coming all the way from LA to play Slackbarn! One of our fav acts and our headliner for 2026, Kate Bollinger, needs fewer words to describe her and you to just dedicate half an hour listening if you haven't already.
Ninajirachi (AUS) – Our headline DJ Act, and sheesh, this is exciting… she’s playing Coachella, received a record 8 Aria nominations, receiving banging reviews on the internet, and holy shit her shows overseas are huge!!!
Marlin’s Dreaming (NZ) - If you’re not familiar with the Marlins, where have ya been? They’re the reason we do this shit. The band will all be back in NZ for a rare lil festival moment with us.
The Grogans (AUS) – Garage Rock from Australia. Yes please. Ben once toured with The Grogans and said we needed to ‘check in…’ Now every time they see him, they say ‘Chicken, mate, we just had lunch’
Nic & Reuben (NZ) – Nic is a doctor and Reuben is a sustainability consultant living in Melbourne, they come together once in 100 years like the avatar to perform, don't miss it - or manager Dylz will be sad....
Shady Nasty (AUS) - Have you ever heard a Sydney geezer talk shit through a mic? It's insanely good when you throw them in with the band (and some Fred Again… remixes)
Slack’s fav DJ’s Eden Burns, Nice Girl, Harley Girl (AUS), Dylan Biscuit & AJ Honeysuckle will be rocking our new second stage in the markets!
Then, golden local legend Miakie and up-and-coming rockstars Half/Angel round out our bands too ~
Mainstage is also hosted by Community Service Records, a label run by Gisborne/Tāmaki DJ Hyan and Harry from streetwear brand Delusional Dreamland, who will play between sets.

Local makers and creators can apply now to be part of the market, which is also the DJ stage !!! So you can sell/buy some merch whilst listening to BANGERS !!! Email info@theslackagency.co.nz if ya keen
