Illuminati Night Ride

Decorate your bike and light up the night at the second spectacular Illuminati Night Ride in Hastings city centre on Saturday August 23. Entry is free by emailing nightridehb@gmail.com and someone will win a $200 cash prize for the best decorated bike! There are also two $50 cash prizes for the best dressed riders and spot prizes.

Meet at Brave Brewing Co. at 205 Queen Street East from 5pm, with the short whanau-friendly ride kicking off at 6pm.
Last year there were 80 spectacular bikes and riders lit up like Christmas trees, including sculptural entries made by Hawke's Bay creatives. Feel free to join in with just your standard bike lights but if you can add a bit (or a lot) of bling with some solar or battery-powered lights that'd be great.
The Illuminati Night Ride is organised by Bike Hawke's Bay to promote safe cycling and having fun. It is supported by Hastings District Council - Te Kaunihera ā-Rohe o Heretaunga.
To be eligible for the cash or spot prizes, register by emailing: nightridehb@gmail.com. If you're registering on behalf of a whanau or friends - we don't need separate emails from everyone, just one email with the names of those taking part will do. The organisers will advise via email if there is a wet weather postponement.
