The Cocktail Party 2025

Join us for a Night to Remember – The 33rd Annual Cocktail Party!!
Proudly presented by the Hastings Karamu Rotary Club and Premier Sponsor, Advanced Plumbing and Gas

This year’s Cocktail Party promises an unforgettable evening of entertainment, connection, and community spirit – all in support of a deeply meaningful cause: the development of a new, purpose-built facility for Cranford Hospice in Hawke’s Bay.

The urgency for this new facility is evident, as the community requires a dedicated space for end-of-life care and specialised services for future generations. Cranford Hospice aims to create a state-of-the-art facility that will ensure top-quality palliative care for the people of Hawke’s Bay for years to come.
There has been significant progress on this project with a conditional contract secured on a new site —conveniently located halfway between Hastings and Havelock North. While Cranford still need to obtain a Resource Consent, before they can go unconditional, they are confident that this milestone can be achieved within the next six months. .

Your ticket supports this essential initiative and opens the door to an evening full of celebration and generosity:

A complimentary Cocktail Hour of Batched Cocktails, Vilaura Bubbles, Giant and Brave beer, all thanks to the amazing support of AWE McNicol Transport, and the generous support of our suppliers.

Delectable canapés, a delicious main meal, and scrumptious dessert!

A live auction presented by Harcourts Hawke’s Bay, and an online silent auction filled with exclusive items and experiences!

The always-popular Advanced Mystery Balloons, and don't forget to buy your raffle ticket! This is your chance to win a trip for 2 to Fiji thanks to the team at House of Travel Hawke's Bay!

All set against a backdrop of music by Shaun Preston, and the kind of atmosphere only the Cocktail Party can deliver!

Don’t miss this iconic night of giving back, glamour, and good times.
Let’s raise our glasses—and much-needed funds—to help build a new home for Cranford Hospice.

Tickets are on sale now – secure yours and be part of something extraordinary.
