A Wallingford Soirée promises an enchanting afternoon exploring the delightful settings of the Wallingford Homestead.
Gather at midday on the Wallingford steps, wet the whistle with a complimentary beverage before donning comfy footwear for a garden tour led by Keith, custodian of the Wallingford grounds.
As you journey through the blooms, regaled by vignettes of Wallingford’s yesterdays, foodie morsels prepared by head chef Christopher Stockdale will find their way to you.
Weather permitting, guests will take a seat at the table on the lawn and enjoy a drink and five tasting plates among friends.
Many moons later, satiated, guests will amble into the ‘great hall’ for a grand tour of the old manor that is Wallingford
