A Night at the Māori Movies Gala Night - Gaiety Theatre, Wairoa - May 30th - tickets on sale soon

Nūhaka Film presents Wairoa Māori Film Festival 2025. Movies at the Marae at Kahungunu Marae is koha entry with a whole weekend of Māori and Indigenous film, with "puha and popcorn" kai. The Gala Night has a Rakaipaaka - Ngāti Kahungunu focus on local film makers and artists with roots here in Wairoa. The theme this year is: "Celebrating Māori Movies" - on the cusp of Matariki dawning who could ask for anything more?
