Mōrere Hot Springs Lodge is a beautiful green oasis which includes forest, pasture, river and lovely views to be enjoyed by guests. It offers a selection of affordable accommodation options:
The lodge is set in a lovely stream-side location on State Highway 2. The accommodation outlets each have their own bathrooms and kitchens set in 35 acres of pasture and woodland on the other side of the stream.
The lodge an historic East Coast farm house complete with typical high ceilings, spacious lounge with fireplace, large kitchen/diner and two bathrooms. There is also an annex with two bedrooms, so all together it can sleep up to 11 people with 2 double and 7 single beds.
It is only a short walk to the Mōrere Hot Springs.
There are a number of activities available in the area including wonderful bush walks, beaches and caves. The closest beach (10 minutes away) has black sand and is scattered with driftwood.
Mahia Peninsula (20 minutes away) has a white sand playground for swimming, surfing, fishing, diving and snorkelling.
