Waipukurau School Colour Dash

Waipukurau School Colour Dash

Get Ready for Central Hawke’s Bay’s Most Colourful Morning of the Year – all while supporting Waipukurau Primary School!

Gather your family and friends and join us for a fun-filled morning at the Spring Colour Dash – a vibrant community event raising funds for Waipukurau Primary School.

This isn’t a race against the clock; it’s all about creating memories, sharing laughs and enjoying a colourful adventure together, all while supporting our local school and its students.

Starting at Russell Park, Waipukurau, participants will make their way through a number of fun obstacle stations before heading out along the scenic Rotary River Pathways. The course will then loop back to Russell Park for a colourful finish, where you’ll cross the line covered from head to toe in rainbow powder and big smiles.

By the end, you’ll be transformed into a rainbow masterpiece – and the more colourful you are, the better!

Before You Come

Wear a white t-shirt for the brightest colour effect (or old clothes you don’t mind getting stained).

Wear comfortable footwear suitable for running and getting a little messy.

Dress for the weather – bring layers, a hat and sunscreen if needed.

Protect your phone with a cover or plastic bag.

Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.

Bring a towel for afterwards – your car seats will thank you!

Arrive early to allow time for parking, registration and the event briefing.

After crossing the finish line, be sure to visit the food tent, grab a bite to eat and enjoy some time with friends and whānau while celebrating a fantastic morning together. Every purchase helps support Waipukurau Primary School, making this event even more meaningful for our local community.

Please note: Biodegradable chalk dust is used during this event.

Every registration helps make a difference.

The Spring Colour Dash is a fundraising event for Waipukurau Primary School, with all proceeds going back into supporting opportunities and resources for our tamariki. Thank you for helping us create an unforgettable event while supporting our local school community.

We can’t wait to see Central Hawke’s Bay come together for a morning full of colour, laughter and community spirit.
