Dog Friendly Napier Pawrade

Grab the lead, round up your four-legged best friend and join us for the return of the Dog Friendly Napier Pawrade. After a hugely successful inaugural event, Pawrade is back for another afternoon celebrating our Napier CBD 45+ dog-friendly stores, the dogs (and dog lovers) of Napier. This year we are hosting a 'best dressed on the runway' competition.

Bring your dog, your family and your walking shoes for a relaxed Sunday afternoon celebrating everything we love about being a dog-friendly city. Meet at the Napier Soundshell from 1pm for some doggy festivities and enter your special canine into the Best Dressed competition! They could win a stay at the Scenic Hotel Te Pania. There will be specialists from Vets to behaviour and dog obedience on site with helpful hints, demonstrations, special treats and giveaways.

From there, you and your pup can enjoy a self-led wander through the CBD, stopping into the dog-friendly stores you’d like to explore.

Important paw-rules:

All dogs must be socially friendly around other dogs.
Please ensure dogs remain on a lead and owners clean up after your pets.
