A superb concert showcasing the talent of our finest young musicians.
Leading NZ pianist and music teacher Susan Smith will select the Young Musician of the Year 2026 from the six finalists previously chosen at the YMY Preliminary competition the weekend before - tickets for Saturday 12 Sept. also on Eventfinda.
Each young musician will perform their chosen programme which includes a diverse range of classical and contemporary music - see the website for the programme. The winner will be named Freemasons HB Young Musician of the Year and awarded the Freemasons $2000 scholarship for future studies.
