Held over Labour Weekend, this "Last One Standing" ultramarathon is a test of endurance.
Participants tackle a 6.7km loop through a mix of limestone and river trails, starting on the hour, every hour. The challenge continues until only one runner remains to be crowned the winner. The flat, "runnable" course alongside the Tukituki River is accessible to all abilities; completing the loop within the hour is achievable at a fast walking pace for most.
