What are Farm Days? Our visitors often comment about how much they enjoy unplugging from their day-to-day lives and having a new experience together. Whether this is camping, bonfires, milking a cow or walking the trails, they've come away feeling refreshed and closer to one another.
We've wondered about how we can offer such an experience in just one day and our hope is that Farm Days can accomplish just that. They're like a country fair set on a beautiful farm that you are free to explore.
Farm Days are your opportunity to bring the family out on the first Sunday of the month, December - March and participate in a series of family friendly events. Come for all or part of the day, bring your own picnic or purchase hot food and cold drinks at the event. We will notify you here of any updates and/or cancellations due to inclement weather. Please bring cash as there will be limited EFTPOS facilities available.
January 3 Farm Day - The ducklings have hatched and the oxen are ready to take you on a ride. Make a wooden toy boat and float it on the pond. Enjoy an all-beef Burger with a cold Mohaka Mint Lemonade while sitting back and listening to some live music. Young children can decorate a gingerbread man or make a card.
Get into backyard gardening and poultry.
You can purchase seedlings, chicks and chicken coops to help you get started.
