WAIROA NETBALL

In 2022, Wairoa Netball commenced its operations under the guiding principle of "FOR WAIROA BY WAIROA." This collaborative effort involving the community, clubs, and schools was warmly embraced by all stakeholders. Since its inception, Wairoa Netball has achieved several significant milestones, marking a series of "firsts" for the netball community.

These achievements include the upgrade of the Standring Park Netball Courts, the introduction of new trophies, a consistent increase in team registrations each year, the revitalisation of Wairoa representative teams, and the successful qualification of umpires. Additionally, Wairoa Netball has garnered support from local organisations and beyond, further bolstering its impact and reach within the community.

The Wairoa Netball Committee, comprised of dedicated individuals, plays a crucial role in overseeing the organisation's operations and initiatives.

Together, under the banner of "FOR WAIROA BY WAIROA," Wairoa Netball continues to thrive, fostering a vibrant and inclusive netball community for the benefit of all involved.
