The campground is set alongside native bush and the Tunanui Stream, 100m from the Hot Springs. Guests can swim in the stream. The following accommodation is available: 30 tent sites, 10 powered sites (only with grey water), 5 cabins each with 2 double beds and a single bed and their own kitchen and shower, 3 ensuite cabins and one 'army' hut with 1 double bed, toaster and kettle. The campsite has full kitchen facilities. Sky TV is available. Linen hire is available. Pets are welcome.Morere Camping Ground Shop and Tea Rooms are on site selling a range of souvenirs, speciality teas, handmade sweets and Kapiti icecreams. The Tearooms are open 7 days from 8am-5pm (7pm in summer). A chef is available for organised functions. There are blackboard specials everyday. It also serves evening meals and tasty desserts. They also offer offsite catering. Cashback is offered on Eftpos. Card Phone available - Postal Agency. The tearooms are capable of catering for bus groups.
